Learn About the Diamond 4 Cs
Cut
The cut of a diamond determines its proportions, symmetry, and polish, which directly influence its brilliance, fire, and overall beauty.
Carat
Carat weight measures the size of a diamond, with one carat equivalent to 200 milligrams. Larger diamonds generally have higher values, but other factors such as cut, color, and clarity also influence a diamond's worth.
Color
The color grading of a diamond evaluates the absence of color, with the highest grade given to diamonds that are completely colorless. The color scale ranges from D (colorless) to Z (light yellow or brown).
Clarity
Clarity assesses the presence of internal and external flaws or inclusions within the diamond. Diamonds with fewer and smaller inclusions receive higher clarity grades, with the scale ranging from Flawless (no inclusions or blemishes visible under 10x magnification) to Included (inclusions visible to the naked eye).
